6:21:05. I think that in Java exists something called garbage collector, so if you don t use Spring you wouldn't have to manage memory by yourself anyway

The best way to do it is to create "spring.xml" manually and adding the boilerplate code from the spring docs which you can lookup using google. For whatever reason STS 4 does not offer the options present in version 3.

I have one important question here: You talk about loose-coupling as a motivation behind using a framework like Spring. But doesn't OOP already achieve loose-coupling? For instance, if I am developing two classes Harddrive and Laptop (as shown in the video) independently, (but without Spring), my new keyword will automatically instantiate the latest version of Harddrive. How does dependency injection help here?

Same error is being faced by me, i removed the controller annotation and error looks same. That means it has something to do with controller annotation
