You were born to decorate and make us people happy!!! Watching all you do, always puts a smile in our hearts. Love your dress and Tasha has been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. I think the world right now, is not attractive at all, and that is why so many people are trying to create our own world inside our homes, just the way we dream of, and it make us feel so much happier, and Im not saying to be unrealistic, just happier and in a beautiful home. Thanks Sheila... yes we are! I remember last year we were all in trauma mode when the world shut down abs I was buying bunnies... big bunnies. This year it’s tulips! I think it’s partly my desire to travel... maybe to Holland:)

I have to admit I never heard of Tasha Tudor, but I think I would really have liked her! Your home looks so pretty dressed for Spring and I really liked the idea of the yarn in the basket. I saw those same yarn colors at the Dollar Tree, so hoping they still have some.

Love it Anne! I love Tasha Tudor also. I have several of her books and an autobiography about her. She used to write a column at the end of a decorating magazine before she passed. I want to say Country Home, but not positive. Thank you for the inspiration. Hope you are feeling well! Love your apron!!

Now this is how to decorate for spring! I've watched some other ladies and their decorations are pretty but not really my style. Too farmhouse, glam and rustic. The curtains are perfect 👌. Colonial prim...that's me. I ordered the same tulips but they're on backorder. I'll be primin them like you did. Tasha Tudor is one of my favorites too. You should check out Jeri Landers channel called Hopalong Hollow. You'd love it. Blessings

Oh Anne you have decorated your home for Spring so beautifully! I just love the 'Tasha' look! I have some clay pots that I'm going to do just like yours, just love them, so simple and yet so charming. I noticed your birdcage that you bought from Michaels last Spring. I really wanted to buy one but they were a little expensive for me even with a 30% coupon. Our prices here in Canada at Michaels can be considerably higher especially on bigger ticket items. I did see one recently at a crafters market just out of town for $50 and I am really thinking about getting it, like I've been given a second chance right?! Hi Sandy! That’s a shame that the prices are so much higher. I think I bought mine for $27 or $34, I don’t remember but I do remember thinking that it’s perfect... and it is! I’ve used it all year around and never tire of it. It has such great lines! I don’t think you’ll regret owning it! 😬

No, I don't knit... that was my sister's knitting. She made baby blankets for the teachers in the school where she taught. When she died, I took her knitting to remember her by. it comes out every spring and I display it as a memorial to her.
