Күн бұрынIn todays video, my first from 2022, filmed today, we see the first bit of tillage I've spotted, the usual Deutz warrior at work prepping for spring barley using a Kvernland plough.
Filmed in Cumbria, UK.

Wow, that’s some outfit Jacob. An absolute beast! Not often I see something of that size operating, normally just a 4-furrow plough at most but you’ll need that kind of power to drag the 5F and that looks pretty heavy soil too. Great video.

Thank you David, it’s a brilliant setup, I’ve been out a lot the last week so hopefully there is more to come when I get round to uploading. The soil is right by the river, so nutrient rich but to be honest not overly heavy, plenty of sand in it, still takes a bit of pulling to get through though.

Yeah it is indeed, it’s most often seen on the big Massey baler. It’s always a treat to catch.
