Какое мастерство! Какая харизма! Только восторг! Низкий поклон советскому балету!

To me this is the very best version of Spring Waters such a perfect mix of Ballet and Gymnastics redolent of Soviet posters and sculpture of the 1950 era and a very trusting ballerina launching her self into space and superbly caught by her very athletic partner this has never been bettered BRAVO

It's lovely to see what Kondratieva could be like, too. She did coach Osipova at the Bolshoi, and some of the semiacrobatic skills Natalia has must have come from Marina.

How fantastic! She danced with such abandon yet still so much control. And his partnering was so sure and secure I bet it was quite fun rather than scary to do that flying leap into his arms!

In a short clip shot during the making of a recent film about Cuban Americans, which (the clip) was posted on a social site, Lorna Feijoo becomes very emotional talking about the Cuban ballet audience.

in fact was not that lubhokin or others are not good,the reason must be that kind of semi acrobatic partnering so in use in that period probabily is no longer in use ,but without particular training is impossible getting that level of skill that make man and girl so sure each over,try to watch the nowadays perf of sw or mw with also good dancers ,is not convincing and pale in comparation,is not lobhukin problem,is a schooling probabily on the line to disappair .agree?
@pediatrapaola14 жыл бұрын
is definitly performed better isn't it?
@pediatrapaola12 жыл бұрын
but at that time this was the needed style ,but this apart did not find lobhukin particulary good in it imo he lacks convinction himself for first,
@Pearlaceous12 жыл бұрын
I agree that it is a stylistic thing, prevalent at that time, but I do find other aspects of the pdd not so impressive. Actually Vlasov's arms are quite coarse and rudimentary: there is little refinement here. If you look at the pdd as an entire package and not just a display of lifting and acrobatics, then I prefer the beautiful lines, arms and schooling displayed by Lobukhin in the Moscow Waltz, which are *in addition* to his amazing partnering and charisma. That's my preference!
