4:17 The way that De Allende looks the journalist straight in the eyes when he says "I might strike a bit harder", and how his eye-contact doesn't flinch for a second when he says it proves how confident he is in himself. Don't get me wrong, as a Springbok supporter I am nervous and the French side have earned their bragging rights, but there's such a deep belief in this Springbok team (from both fans, coaching staff, and players). Either way, the game is guaranteed to be a special clash and I can't wait to watch it!

It's great to see NZ supporters backing the boks! 😅 NZ has always been my 2nd team anyway. What a clash this is gonna be against the French! Noticed that the Boks has a duel strategy here. Looks like a forward bomb squad and a mini back bomb squad on the bench... that's very interesting. Absolutely. They've been nothing but gracious in every single press conference. This Springbok team are always polite and always humble. Rugby Pass absolutely hate South Africa so no surprises they're trying to push this false narrative that they're a shit, arrogant team of Neanderthal brutes. No-one talks about the fact this is probably the most disciplined Springbok team in history. Gone are the days of cheap shots and lots of yellow card. The Boks haven't received one card yet. But as per usual this doesn't play well for the hater's narrative.

Guys I think we as South Africans need to follow the lead of our rugby team. They're professional and don't sweat the things that are fundamentally insignificant. As frustrated as you might be, acknowledge that there will always be haters. We have a bad reputation as fans, and I can see why - we wear our hearts on our sleeves and can be wrong at the best of times. But let's be mature about it and let the action on the pitch do the talking - after all that's all that's important isn't?
