As a South African: 1. I dont see what the penalty try was for. I didnt see a collapse of the maul. 2. The pass from Kriel to Mapimpi was 100% a forward pass. A shocking miss by the ref and TMO. That being said. A good game from the boys. I have faith in the youngsters coming through. Hendrikse didnt have a good debut, would like to see the Sharks 10 in a springbok jersey.

This was such a frustrating game to watch. It makes me fear for the future of rugby. I have never watched a game that was more over-officiated than this. Every few minutes there was a call to watch some replay by the TMO. It dragged the game out so much more than it had to. It was like watching the NFL with all the breaks in play. If this is the route they choose to go, i am afraid they will lose a lot of viewers over the coming seasons.

As we don't have the necessary technology on this planet to detect if it is a forward pass, in the same play of the 14-13 match, there were two clear forward passes that affected the game by being validated with a try. It's incredible. We boast about having the best VAR system in the world of sports, and then these things happen that are from the last century. A clear offside line like in football, it's very simple to draw a line. These forward passes tarnish the good name of this sport.

How is it that the TMO and Ref and Linesman can't see an obvious forward pass - I can't celebrate a fake try - I mean they even reviewed it and still came up with the wrong decision - these are supposed to be the easy decisions for Rugby - c'mon guys.....

If Wales had a bit more ball handling, which I'm sure they will work on, because I see 2 tries their for the taking, that some other sides would have planted. So add that to the score, and it is more respectable than people think. Forward pass by South African that led to a try, take that away and SA only won by a small margin.
