I'm pretty sure the Hellcat is made in Croatia. Not a bad thing. Just saying that Springfield Armory is a completely different company from Springfield of yesteryear, and they import a lot of their guns from HS in Croatia. Still good guns, and battle tested.

After about 500 my p365 coyote edition doesn’t have primer drag anymore but it did when I first shot it weird to me any one else have a similar situation?

Well said! Amazing how folks get bogged down over small things regarding different weapons. I have a friend that only buys high $ weapons (H&K, etc.) and ridicules me for my budget--yet reliable firearms. I finally told him, show me a bad guy that has ever asked, "how much did you pay for that weapon?" after being shot. Shoot a BG -- make, model, features, mag cap, or how much you paid is not his concern.

My only two pistols are hellcat and hkvp9 too…

Not even close to a P365 in design. It's a XD Mod2 all day long just in fun size. I bet it won't have the issues or the "voluntary upgrades",( aka recall), Sig had. This one may well be going into my EDC rotation. Smaller than my Performance Center M&P9 Shield I love with 11+1 on tap from the draw. The same trigger as my XD9 Mod2... What's not to like. Pretty much sold on this one already. I just need to get my hands on one to be sure.

@@BradleyStegall Yes... Yes brother I am. I've own a G17, and G22. Both had broken firing pins that had to be replace, and my G22 cracked it's operating rod also and had to replace that too. All that happened around 2k rounds. My G36 was picky on what it liked to fire... Which was just about nothing but Hydroshock and Golden Sabre. The thing wouldn't even fire Remington UMC or Winchester white box range loads effectively. I will NEVER own another Glock personally. That's not to say they are all absolute trash, but I never had a good one and never looked back.

I wish they wouldn't. The PPS is good enough (outstanding, actually) imho. For some reason I feel less recoil with it than with the PPQ or Creed...strange I know but that's just me. What I'd like to see is a double or half stack 380 close to the G42 in size or at least smaller than the Shield EZ, which is an amazing pistol that S&W should have made to hold more than 8 rds.

My PPS M2 is awesome. But admittedly I looked into the higher cap G2C

Could be, and it could also be the beefier recoil spring that will also make it more reliable. Bore axis is way over estimated in 9mm.

The P365 was a new design when it came out, which is why it had some issues coming out the gate. I'll bet the Hellcat won't have that issue since it's based off the XD, which is a proven design.

Many are up-and-angered over Springfield and 2A rights actions at the company level.....what about one's direct risk of life with a product that (when it fails when you want it to work)....can get you killed ?

A microcompact vs a shotty with a raptor head grip?

@@buttersmcgee not a raptor head, I was looking at the full size 590s. They’re the ones that use mini shells and full size ones in one configuration, no part swap or anything. I ended up choosing a micro compact because it’s a 9, it can do what I need, and I’m not a wimp :D although if I wasn’t a wimp I probably would have gone with the raptor head cus those things are sick

Not me. I have small kids and even though the weapons are always secured, almost to the point of OCD, there’s always that .00001% chance. Plus, a grip safety is just a ‘are you suuure you’re ready to fire?’ kinda thing. But that’s just me. A lot of my friends detest safeties of any kind.

I've never had a problem with the grip safety. Never had a problem on my 1911 either. I guess its just personal preference. That said, SA probably go rid of the grip safety to reduce bulkiness on the grip for such a small CC gun.

I’m not complaining about the grip safety. It just that most Springfield handguns have grips safety. Taking the grip safety off is new from the previous Springfield.
