Here is something back from before I started posting regularly on this channel, it would have been around the summer of 2019 when I built this. While I was noodling around working on my Withered Bonnie project, I decided to have a bit of fun with the idea of ‘springlock’ endoskeletons from the FNaF games: Where all the robotic parts can be disengaged and compressed around the interior of the costume, allowing it to be worn by a person.
This idea is not within my ability to achieve. Not even close. But, I thought I might as well just toy with the idea to see what came out of it, resulting in this. This is a forearm piece, where an inner rod (representing the endoskeleton arm) splits in two and folds away, making room for a human arm to fit between them. The hypothetical upper arm would then do the same thing, swinging down to clamp around the pin to make something that at least looks and moves like an elbow joint. Whether it would actually be in any way helpful as a robotic arm is another matter entirely.
