Absolutely unacceptable call from Lincoln, especially with a national audience watching

Even the winner, Anthony Macri, said that Devon Borden got screwed.

Bad call by Stevie Wonder and the officials at Lincoln. Should have called the start back.

Throw the yellow at the start and restart with appropriate lineup position changes...NEVER do what was done to Borden at the first yellow. That was bull sh_t. And on top of that, Borden didn't commit a start infraction anyway...even Anthony Macri testified to that. The officials made a mockery of that race.

Ask Billy Dietrich about Lincolns jump start calls. Bad jump calls do happen occasionally everywhere but this year Lincoln seem to be at the top of the list with them.

Lincoln's been making terrible jump calls all year and then when they're in the national spotlight during speedweek on Flo they make the worst one yet. What an embarrassment to the sport.

Did nobody else notice Hartlaub riding a wheelie at the start? Love it when someone up front has a bad start and someone behind gets penalized for it.

One of the worst calls I've ever seen in a big race. Lincoln, you did yourself no favour last night.

I went back and watched it 3 or 4 times, Id love to sit with whoever made this call and watch it so they could show me exactly what he did wrong, Im a Macri fan and I still think it was BS

Who makes these calls at the majority of the tracks. The tower or the flag man. I know at Lincoln they have the virtual flagger so I would assume it's the tower. Do the top series do it different? I assumed with car radios most of the calls come from the tower? Please confirm my suspicions! TY

sounds like some tracks in PA need to decide what a jump is on the start. they have made terrible calls on jumped starts this year.

I was there. I don't even understand why the yellow came out. Must have been debri on the track or something. Fans around me didn't seem to think much of it as Macri is the favorite son. Not a good look for PA Speedweek.

My gut reaction was to turn off the race when it happened. I didn't even have any emotional stake in Borden winning other than it would be nice to see someone other than the favorites get a significant win. I wound up putting it back on a couple minutes later after I cooled off and saw the ending, but just hit the home button on the Roku remote after Macri crossed the line. Didn't need to see any more than that.

The rulebook reads “Any car passing or racing before the front row reaches the white line will be penalized two (2) positions for each car jumped. All cars must be nose to tail within the tracks of the car in front of them until the leaders reach the starting line. Those not in line or passing before the green flag is displayed will be penalized a minimum of two (2) positions.” The white line and the starting line are two different lines. They mean start/finish line instead of start line.

You forgot to mention this only happens at one track in Pennsylvania, Lincoln

Yea definitely a bad call. If that was a jump, than the earth is flat and the moon is actually Swiss cheese🧀 lol. Been seeing some questionable calls across the country in racing in recent months. Somethings gotta give.

Lincoln is not a favorite of mine. This just makes me realize my choice of where I spend my money is definitely a good choice. Both drivers and fans got totally ripped off. So glad I went to bed and didn't lose sleep over this fiasco 🤔

A real flag man wouldn't have made that bad call. The race teams ought to go on social media and tell the fans that next time Lincoln races,they will not show up. That would send a strong message to the Lincoln management.

Common sense? Nah, not here. I'm not Posse (not been to PA since '75) but between this chicksh*t call and the elimination of the very fiber of racing, the flag man, I wouldn't get anywhere near this joint. Perhaps all the drivers can unite & agree to stop there cars on the backstretch on Lap 1 and have the pit guys ask the officials if they liked the start before they resume racing.

To bad the race didn't go non stop. Then what?

They've had no problem reracking in the past...... of course, some reracks have been questionable.😡 .

That call last night was one of the most ridiculous calls I've ever seen at a race track. If ya don't like the start, call it back. Only a LeMoron waits until the 1st caution.
