they would have solved the problem for the cruise control if it was installed

I have the same problem, I temporarily had an old instrument panel, now I inserted this one with chrome, a newer panel, I have the same problem, I don't have cruise control, and I tried the panel on another van where it has cruise control, the panel functions as it should, what should I do in my case so that the panel would be ok, thanks in advance
