How u solve no boost problem with code p006c

I keep getting the following code on my 08 Sprinter 2500 (3.0 L v6 Turbo Diesel): "2953-2 MIL ON Stored Current B90/3 (Right EKAS end position measurement sensor) The valve is actuated and open. Readout is too small." Could this be related to a seized valve, and should I get in there and try moving a linkage to diagnose?
