This guide assumes that you have SPT already installed!

Written guide [Updated 20/05/24] = HOSTING = - Download Client and Server mod from FIKA Discord - Move Zipped files into SPT folder - Unzip the files - Go to Aki_Data > Server > configs > HTTP - Open Hamachi or Radmin - Change the "IP" and "backendIP" to the IP from Hamachi/Radmin - Save - Make a new Network in Hamachi/Radmin - Launch Aki.Server like normal [Dont close it!] - Launch Aki.Launcher - Open settings in the Launcher - Change the IP under URL to the IP from Hamachi/Radmin [Make sure you only change the IP not the whole thing!] - Start game - Press F12 at game menu - Navigate to FIKA - Under "Force IP and "Force bind IP" insert your IP from Hamachi/Radmin - Choose a map + time - Press Host Raid - Choose amount of players - Press start = JOINING = - Download the client zipped file from FIKA Discord - Move Zipped file to SPT folder - Unzip the file - Open Hamachi/Radmin - Join the hosts network - Launch Aki.Launcher - Open settings in Launcher - Change the IP under URL to the hosts Hamachi/Radmin IP [Make sure you only change the IP not the whole thing!] - Start game - Press F12 at game menu - Navigate to FIKA - Under "Force IP" and "Force bind IP" insert your Hamachi/Radmin IP - Go to the same Map + Time as host - Join Raid from the "Raids" menu NOTE: If a mod uses the Bepin folder it wont be automatically downloaded by clients!

You have to open the Ports. Otherwise there will be issues. Think thats worth mentioning. TCP and the other one. Think you should add that, then the Guide is perfect

Did not know I have to put the ip in the menu while in Tarkov (f12)! Thanks bud. No guide before mentioned that. Had a blast while playing with my brother again! Cheers o7

thanks for the guide cleddyf, this worked for me. For anyone who has the "default AKI server not available" issue, I noticed my first time loading the server took a bit longer, probably because it had to import the database from EFT. Once the server was green, I closed the window, made sure the settings in AKI had the correct IP for Hamachi, and then restarted the server. It worked the second time without any issues. cheers

So this guide worked (thank you) but my friend spawned in with a completely random kit. He equipped an M4 and Paca but spawned in with an AK and Trooper. Why did this happen? Edit: ok so nevermind, it gave him his inventory from his account on my PC. Still don't know why that happened tho lol

does my friend need the same mods that i have in order for this to work or how does it work when he joins me with no mods for example?

Very helpful! But my friends and I did have meet other problems, such as he could not "force bind IP" ( I' m the host), as he have no correct ip in the drop-down menu, even if he have already entered it in "Force IP". When we tried to ignore it and start the game, it's very likely that he would lost the connection to the host within in ten minutes, and there's no option to reconncet. I'm not sure if these issues are related, and I wonder what I'm supposed to do to enable the 'reconncet function'?

They have updated FIKA since I made this tutorial, I think the client needs to use their own Radmin/Hamachi IP in force IP and bind IP now instead of the hosts IP

host a game for 2 players then your brother needs to go to the same map and join your game there

@@eloytaylor6414 Are you both in the same Hamachi network? Also make sure the client is using the IP of the hosts Hamachi not their own

@@YrCleddyf We ended up figuring it out and played for about 5 hours lol Hamachi wasn't working for us for some reason but once we tried Radmin VPN it worked instantly

Hamachi is pretty much a work around for port forwarding so yes.

Do u know whats a problem? When connecting to the host, it says waiting for other players to loading and nothing happens. My friend can also wait for "other players" or press Force start. Maybe it's related to the settings spawn PMC bots?

the joining part is weird..i have it all set up but after loading the map on the host my client stops seeing the loaded raid in the host/join table screen...maybe some mod is messing with it?*39 mods loaded at both instances*

@@YrCleddyf yeah exactly...although i just read something about the need of sharing the hosts profile file with all others that are going to join and after that pulling all clients profile files onto the host system.. my clients profile directory is empty atm and theres no profile files being created when i load the spt sooo there might be an issue with this?

Can you be more detailed about the perspective of the one who joins? like if he has to open the server or just only the launcher, where to put the ip, if he needs the server mods of the hoster etc. My friend (who hosts the server) has no issues, but when i'm in the launcher and I put his IP from radmin, It says "SPT-AKI SERVER NOT AVAILABLE".

Are you in his Radmin network? Only he needs to open the server just make sure he isn't closing it after it loads up it needs to stay open. In the launcher make sure the URL looks like this: [hostsIP]:6969 if there is something missing or if there is anything extra it wont work. You don't need to install the mods unless they are mods using the Bepin folder, also mods that add items to the game dont usually work with FIKA.

We are having issues with it constantly loading and not opening the game and says not responding both client and host and we followed the guide to a T is there hidden steps?

Just got back from work, you aren't closing the AKI server before launching the game are you? And make sure you are using the Hosts Hamachi IP in the launcher settings and of course make sure Hamachi is turned on. The hosts AKI.server should say if theres an error, it will be in Red text.

@@YrCleddyf we are using radmin but yea that’s connected firewall is open ip is linked shows me his server on the launcher then infinitely loads says “escapefromtarkov.exe has stopped responding” that’s as far as we can get

@@christheeclown9764 What mods does he have? Some mods cause infinite loading before crashing. You might have to copy his Bepin folder if he's added anything into it.

Hey man, followed the steps correctly, but when ever I press "start game" on the Aki launcher. the game doesn't start. But, when ever I do the default server ip (127.0.0.1) it runs fine. What should I do?

Hit start game and let it load for a few minutes. At first I didn't think it was working when we tried Fika but it took a couple minutes for the game to boot up

when i host the server i get to the host Raid, after Loading im in Waiting for 1 player. But my friend can't find my hosted game. Everything is setup as stated.

Does the URL look like this: x.x.x.x:6969 If there is any extra characters like an extra / or . its not going to work [x's should be the hosts IP]

They made some changes since I made this video, whoever is joining have them change the forceip/force bind ip to their own Radmin/Hamachi IP.

Also I am a little confused by "they can't set it on the force bind IP it has a drop down menu and it's not an option on there" Do you mean that they press f12, they go to FIKA but they cant see Force IP and Force bind IP? Or do you mean they can't change it? Both the client and the host have to change these to the hosts IP otherwise it gives a ports aren't open error.

That means its not in your mods folder.

@@YrCleddyf I have found the issue, if you copy the spt folder (I copied mine so that my SPT/NONFIKA works in case I mess up) the new folder's launcher will launch the game exe from the OTHER folder, meaning if you have "SPT" and make a copy "SPT - Copy" and run the launcher from "SPT - Copy", it will run the game from "SPT" instead, which of course, does not have the fika.core.dll inside. TL;DR - if you copy your folder structure, change the "GamePath" value from the \user\launcher\config.json to the new path.
