A lot of people down on Santi - I think a bit of Vincent Janssen related trauma. He's a decent size, holds up and dribbles well, scores with his head and doesn't hesitate on his weaker foot. On the business side I think it makes massive sense for exposure in North America... commercially superior to any of the other options. I'd be very happy to see him come in.

Giménez might not sound like a top target to some people but as a Mexican who’s been following him ever since he’s been playing in Mexico, he’s the real deal. The man is a goal machine and paired with son at the wing he would absolutely dominate. The way he plays he’d fit right in at Tottenham, he’s worth the money

It’s intriguing as we normally have 8-10 players on a list for every position of interest. He’s on it, and what I find fascinating is how many different styles of strikers there are on it!

OK question for you, if we tried for Toney do you think he would pass the Postie character test? I can see Levy keen enough if he were available £30 mill or so with only a year left on his contract (suggestions Brentford want £60 mill but with a year left and recent form that seems not likely but what might they hold out for? doesn't sound like a lot of clubs queuing up. As for me if scum are looking likely to tie up Sesko then I want us going for Gyokeres and if we get out money back on Richy then the net cost would be not much for a striker who is on fire and a very strong and skilful one

I can't see Toney going for anything near 60, like you said 1 year left, form etc. I think he will be around 40-45. Ange has always said he has to have a conversation with a player to workout if he's the right character or not. Gyokeres I just think goes elsewhere this summer, my big shout would be openda but I am wary of the homegrown situation

There is always a better suited club normally, them wanting you is another story. This situation is a little more forced due to Chelsea needing to sell him, and potentially by June 30th which forces hands!
