The best thing about this song (it's all great really) is the drums. Such a chaotic and at time syncopated rhythm. Frantic and scrambled in places and settling in others. It has lyrics of its own.

When Fujiwara (composer, words writer and vocal) found peanuts is actually NOT nuts but sold as a nuts in a mixed nuts, he thought it is quite the same as Spy Family. They are not a normal family but pretending as if they are ordinal ppl. What a great imagination of Fujiwara !!

I think big part of why this anime blowing up is because we are kinda fed up with fantasy isekai setting, Spy x Family couldn’t come at more perfect time with their setting with just a normal family yet not so normal which not make it completely boring for people who like action stuff the author literally made the perfect mix between slice of life and action so the anime have huge variety audiences potential How is it gained this much likes? I’m both amused and happy. This is my first time a comment i wrote gained this much liking and the fact the reply is not toxic is genuinely wholesome and just shows how good of a community sxf have

For me it wasn’t isekai fantasy but gloomy gritty pessimistic stuff in general. It’s so refreshing to just watch an anime about a happy family

Also unlike most anime we also get to see the world. The peaceful family life is contrasted by espionage and politics. The series being inspired by Germany during the 60s just makes it all the more interesting. Also there are no teenagers or teen shenanigans.

Totally agree on fed up with isekai... This anime can be feasible that spies do exist and blends in the society, comparing it a guy transported to another world and became powerful or having a fox like ninja running around to save the world (no offense to naruto/boruto as I also enjoyed those anime too) and its also more relaxed with cuteness of little Anya. 😀

LOL, they kind of seem like the type that didn't realize they needed it until they had it though, at least Loid, the Kuudere spy father with character development. ^^; Heck, it kind of reminds me of Kobayashi from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. :p Kind of funny how some of the people not asking for it are some of the people who deep down need it the most and are some kind of workaholic up to that point, for various reasons and stuff. :p It's important to have something like a family to call your own, isn't it? :p

Looks like it's Anya's pov in the beginning then shifts to Loid's pov at 0:41 when the music starts sounding all spy-ish. 1:35 is Anya or probably Yor's pov! And then 2:02 is Loid again.

Well, isekais are not that up anymore, i mean, there's probably more of them, but very few are high quality...i feel like we are witnessing the start of a "rom-com" era now, My dress-up darling, Kaguya, Shikimori, all this were top rated in the past seasons, and even Spy x family has something from rom-coms...now we have "my stepmom's daughter is my ex" that aired today and seems very very good...i think that after AOT ends, it will be a rom-com kingdom, maybe "Solo Leveling" might be a big rival, but I'm not quite positive about it, there's already some questions

Sigh... seriously, I sort of get what their going for with isekai an how oddly real and meta it is with the escapism fetish, dealing with "nobody" otakus who want to be a "somebody" and the classic Fantasy setting, but really, if people are going to do isekai stuff, I'd love it if some of them had some originality to them, because it kind of pisses me off that some of them are named "X in Another World" now and the most literal uncreative name ever or overly long when their not being abbreviated to something like Oreimo and Watamote. :p Like, how could you give them a short name in a conversation about what anime you're watching or something, you know? :? Sigh... it's exhausting. :p Like... I wish isekais could involve not having to die to get there, other people besides hikikomori/neets that die, or other genres like Sci-fi or something maybe, or maybe not even be a dark deconstruction where that world has it's own major dystopic issues like Re:Zero and just be... a little more normal and creative. :p (Well... I don't know how good it is and remember the name, but there was at least one isekai I saw though that involved a male "witch" magician that died in a freaking fire from an act gone bad or something and got sent to the middle ages and witch trials that only LOOKS like a fantasy world with real magic but is actually full of delusional religious people or something, you know how it is. :p I guess it's kind of like... isekai mixed with that one weird Ace Attorney x Professor Layton crossover spinoff thing in a way. :? It was at least a bit more interesting than the usual copycats to stuff like Re:Zero and the like, though I still never got into it much. :p)

True, this one is a masterpiece. XD Still, I love Bump of Chicken and the new opening is really cute and heartwarming too, seeing them grow closer to each other for real with time instead of just pretending too for the sake of their job or some kind of disguise and stuff, actually taking the caring part of Anya seriously. :p If not Loid and Yor to each other too. ^^; And now they even have a big doggy, "Mr. Bond". :p Love this show.

I just started watching spy x family a phenomenal hilarious show but the opening really left a jaw dropping, in my face impression on me with its music. So i had to look up the lyrics and it is shockingly relatable and reflects not only the show but life in general so well.

Not ashamed to say this is one of my favorite animes right now. It's a nice breather from so many long winded arcs and darker themes in other animes I'm watching. Spy family just makes me smile, it gives a sense of levity and innocence that just feels refreshing to come to.

I like the idea they said that how we are born will show us the hierarchy of today's society. Take examples: If you are some rich people with high beauty standards, they treat you really nice and friendly. But if you're born below the society, it'll be a whole different world for people like that. Every day is a struggle for a living, food, taxes, and more. To be honest, being born into an average family for me is really lucky for having both mom and dad, and being able to go to school, doesn't worry about money and food, unlike some others which means they don't have the same life as me. And I hope that in the future no far, just like the rain in the song that moisture this dry and unacceptable world, humans we all can sit down at a round table, all equally human beings.

I absolutely love Spy x Family's theming because of the modern x 60s theming- That comes across really well in the music. There's a lot of jazz and swing that really just reminds me of an old spy movie but there's that combination between that and the modern rhythm and aspects. When I first read the manga, I absolutely loved it and I hoped that an anime adaptation would capture the essence of the story well, and there was certainly no disappointment with the soundtrack and the voices. It's just such a refreshing show after all of the dark, depressing shows that became popular recently.

I know SpyxFamily but I don't watch the anime (I've only read the manga) so when this song came up in my playlist I thought "Sounds like a family-oriented anime ost but also sounds like Higedan" ohhh little did I know lmao
