What I love about this scene, without mentioning anything, you can smell the fact that 20 years earlier, Robert Redford’s mentor taught him exactly the same way

In reality they do as much as they can to protect assets. It is bad for business if an asset gets caught and executed. You may not get anymore if you have a reputation for turning your back when they are most in need, unless there was simply nothing that could be done.

@@red2977Totally agreed. I had a similar argument with a friend about Lone Survivor. "Why didn't they just waste the goat farmer and the kid and get on with accomplishing their mission?" That's missing the big picture. The news of an innocent family being executed by American SOF would guarantee the locals would never work with US forces again, and many would probably join the opposition side immediately. Win the battle maybe, but lose the war.

If you like this, and I did very much, try "The Package" for more Cold War spy stuff. In fact, Gene Hackman has a number of good spy movies including "the Conversation," and (with Matt Dillon), "Target."

western movies are not selfish to share their knowledge for free to educate the ignorant like me. one of the thing that i learned is you are not wrong if you critize analyze something because all thoughts has meaning as human being. yes expressing and explaining yourself about them are nothing new because someone already said just imagine how old the nyc building their knowledge are priceless for everything. thats why they are the protector of this world for anything. critize analyze your knowledge will increase then study how to understand the summarize
