I have a Para 3 LW as well as several other very nice Spyderco’s and some others but my main go to 99% of the time is my gorgeous CruCarta Para 2. I LOVE that thing and it’s built like a tank.

My main blade is my CruCarta PM2 also. I was surprised they were essentially the same price as the standard PM2's.

@@nickfountain8420 yeah it’s an incredibly good deal. My next one I wanna get is the dark gray G10 with ultra badass Maxamet steel.

Oh, and i have the odium and elementum. I really love the elementum. Civivi is a great intro knife to hegin edc journey. I carry para 2 and boker air kwaiken, work in an office though. Spydie is a great knife.

I carry a Para 2. It's big, but it fits in the pocket better than some smaller knives.

Me too! I LOVE my CruCarta PM2. I have a LOOOT of nice knives, Most are Spyderco’s, but that’s my go to daily carry unless I’m just feeling like something else.

I would love to have a Para3 LW Salt version, but without the neon yellow handle. That would be ideal, same EDC knife, but completely rust proof...

I xan breakout the bug out in half, i cant break my p3 in to two piecs. Bug out is a kids knife, just not that durable unless upgrade it which makes $300 knife. Dead on with the review. Great job.

I might be crazy but I have always carried two edc blades One for work and one for food. For instance, today I was carrying my PM2 in Cruwear and Deka in Magnacut.

I love the PM2, but I would like it better if the handle scales were a bit more rounded and contoured around the edges... I like the PM2 with Micarta, but Cru-wear isn't very rust resistant, from what I have read...

Given the parameters you mention, I’d go for a pm2

I Luv My Spyderco's but think the "Spydie-Flick is for people who have too much time to play with their tools and have a deep need to think they're cool. I'm not afraid that any of my Delica's will break, I've cut through steel cargo strapping with my saber ground blade & if you're afraid of the Omegs spring breaking, don't play with your knife (it's pretty simple, really).

Totally agree on the whole spider flick thing. I am positive that 90% or more of the people who proclaim that it's their preferred method, do so only because they think it looks cool, and they think that others will think they are cool. It's like, go to a knife show and you will have to dodge flocks of teenagers sitting there twirling balisongs.. You know that none of them knows how to actually use a knife, but they will spend hours and have competitions of basically just opening and closing a knife... It shouldn't, but it annoys me... haha
