@resistance1207 I don't know, the game is really optimised. RTX is optional keep in mind, I feel that this game suffers from poorly implemented SSR (an unreal engine problem). Ray traced reflections would do this game a huge benifit

@@thomaskelly2108 Never cared for reflection and it's brainless demanding suggestion that majority of people don't care. It doesn't improve anything to be better when the game is already beautiful. Just remember how much physx choked fps back in the day that majority of game companies don't even add after that. Really useless feature to majority of gamers, just like this "ray tracing" that majority don't give a damn to ogle 24/7 on pointless mirror reflection and darker shadows. Many choose 60 fps and high quality over something broken pointless reflections.

@@xXSilentAgent47Xx The majority of people not caring hasn't stopped the console manufacturers and an overwhelming percentage of the industry from focusing on and implementing RT into their games. SSR in the game is crap like most UE 4 titles, Read my message above, the game is well optimised enough to have something like RT reflections and still maintain 60fps or higher on any mid range hardware.

Now we need Nitro Fueled on PC with all the GP content and it's all set. All Crash & Spyro games at 4K60. Finally.

Pro is 30 fps? That's fucking sad. I run this 1440p, 60fps but the game freaks out if it is forced to run at over 60 fps.

man I feel you. 45 fps instead 60 as usually. I was afraid too about Spyro, but on a medium graphics stably 50-60 fps in the first game. How my PC will run ice levels and big levels from Ripto's Rage and Year of Dragon - I don't know, but certaintly worse

You really expect them to have double the amount of frames and quality within a "patch or update"?. You've already seen how it runs on consoles for almost a year now. If it does release for the next gen I suppose they could get about 30 frames more so that the game could be bearable at most.

@@emeraldwind4897 DAH! Remake has the option to choose on PS4 30 fps or 60 fps, they gave it in 1.08 patch. Which i played 60 fps. This game was built on Unreal Engine, just like Spyro Remake, so yeah. The game can run 60 fps on PS4 and XBOX One, but the developers locked it at 30 fps. Don't know why that is a feature, i believe it's because of some animation and audio issues which the last gen consoles don't have 120Hz (HDMI 2.1 or DP) cables to make it available up more than 60 fps. Plus there is one level (Crystal Glacier) that has fps issues that drops below 50 even with best components, but every other level performs fine.

@@KudoDerg it was most likely because of the time they was given, hence why 2 and 3 weren't on the disc fully because they didn't have time but they can still update for latest gen consoles

Not going to happen.Consoles don’t have enough memory bandwidth that’s why the frame slowdown glitch in lost fleet happens.They can’t speed up the memory with a patch so it’s not going to happen.Only on pc can u get these frame rates thanks to all current high speed ram and gddr6 and 5 graphics cards.

Fiklm not making stuff up there is a proven memory problem which can’t sustain the frame rates.Has been proven that memory leakage happens in lost fleet and other parts of the games that causes slowdown slowing the speed down lower then base console clock speeds while at 1440p and kills the frame rate.Sure the under 3ghz cpu clocks don’t help either but memory leakage from the gpu is the big killer.Point is if that happens with even 30fps forget 60.

Doesn’t need to be that powerful.Some early access people are reporting playing on 700 and 900 series cards at 60 high settings.Just stick to 1080p high u should be good on pretty much anything

Jack K oh hell yeah they are I had a 980 for years but point is as long as you have even a laptop with over better then a 1050 should be able to run this at 1080p ultra.Newer cards can start cranking past 1440.

I have the Switch version, it doesn't even come close to looking this good. All the models have the checkered pattern on them making everything look more pixelated and I'm pretty sure it's locked to 30FPS. Shadows don't "pop" as much either. Wishing I got the PC version instead but I also had Crash on Switch so it's fine I guess. Plus I can take it anywhere :)
