His are good, though the only ones I've seen are his Halo ones, there's too many guides where the person doesn't speak and instead either puts text on the screen or just shows you without explaining what you have to do.

I doubt they will. Although they're helpful videos, I think they only reason why we have the Spyro ones is because these would likely come out even if Jeremy wasn't getting paid. He loves the game so much, he'd make a million of these videos for free. So any other game, they'd have to weigh the cost effectiveness and I'm certain it just isn't there, which is why they stopped to begin with.

Yeah, it's really hard to find a good achievement guide video let alone channel, some of them don't finish the guides, some seem poorly done, I hate the ones where they put text on the screen or just show and not tell, I really like the ones where they explain where it is or how to do it and show you at the same time.

Toasty: What? My level has no skill points. Am I a joke? Blowhard: My skill point was not to defeat me perfectly, but to stand on a platform for 10 seconds. Other than that, why did Toys For Bob only do one skill point in a portal when they remade Spyro 1? Notice that I did not say "every portal," but in "a portal," and to be more clear, some portals have skill points, and some portals do not have any skill points.

They stopped because they don't get enough views to warrant someone taking time away from making other content to make guides. At the end of the day they have to turn a profit, so the countless hours that Jeremy and Matt must have spent searching for these things were really not worth the effort for only about 40,000 views, but Jeremy likely did most of the work for this video on his own time at home (exploring the levels) since he likes the game. If he did it during work, that would be time spent not making let's plays, which is not nearly as profitable a use of their time. So the only time we are going to get guides for games is when at least one of the crew REALLY likes the particular game and is willing to work on it outside of the office. There is no way they could justify hiring new people and paying them a salary just to make guides, and they can't really justify taking away time from let's plays for the main crew to make guides. Also, keep in mind that there are countless KZfaq accounts that make guides for free (including on the AH Community channel), so trying to compete with that, again, just isn't a profitable use of time.

@@EchthelionII But why would they? If it isn't making a profit and it only gets a very small fraction of views, then what is the point? Of course they COULD, but the point is that there is no incentive to do so. Anytime spent doing activity A can't also be spent doing activity B, so any time spent doing activity A is time that they'll never get back to work on activity B. It isn't about can vs can't, it is about why vs why not. On the extreme, they could start uploading only guides, but that would be detrimental to their profits, as they would get way less views because they are only appealing to a very small fraction of their audience. Achievement Hunter is a company, and the goal of a company is to be as profitable as possible, which means providing a service that appeals to as many people as possible. I don't know if you follow the Bunny Man Play Pals, but if you do you will hear Michael talk about why Trevor hates the Bunny Man tirade they have been on, because it takes them over an hour to create about 30-40 minutes of generally lesser viewed content, which is an inefficient use of time. That said, those Play Pals get WAY more views than guides. Guides are an even worse use of time, because they can take DAYS of work to produce a video that is literally 5-15 minutes max. It just doesn't make sense from a business standpoint to dedicate resources to that. Don't get me wrong, I agree that it would be awesome to have regular guides, but at the end of the day Achievement Hunter is a business, and the crew are employees, and their job is to create content for profit, so they have to prioritize their time in the office on the most productive projects.
