The passion and life put into this craft is absolutely stunning. As a fan, this trailer really sells this Remake perfectly. And the fact that Toys For Bob delayed this, so us fans wouldn't end up with another Enter The Dragonfly situation, goes a long way.

A couple extra months of development wouldn't have stopped an Enter the Dragonfly situation, though, that was a situation where that game needed another year in the oven to cook before it was what it should have been

uh, actually its only rumored the game will come out on 2 discs likely only 1 plus who cares do you know how much money 3 DISCS would cost them to take for every single physical release?! a lot of money, plus its pointless when all the games can fit on 1 disc maybe 2 its just stupid to waste money on 3 discs when they don't need to.

For someone who hasn't played a Spyro game before I'm really excited for this game. Even though I've never played the originals at least I get to experience them in HD. For all the classic Spyro fans out there I'm so glad you get to enjoy your childhood in HD!

I suggest you go get a PSOne and at least the first game. I recently started playing it and it's a real blast. 20 years old and still going strong !

I complained a lot when the first trailer dropped because there were a lot of things that were unsatisfactory and I wanted to remake to be as good as it could be. Nearly half a year later, the only thing to complain about is minor gripes here and there. Toys4Bob actually listened to the fans and made as many changes to please the even the nitpicky one, such as myself. Truly incredible. I don't think I've ever seen as much love and passion go into a remake and I am excited as all hell to get my hands on it.

As excited as I am for RDR2, I honestly think my excitement level is slightly higher for this. I've been wanting this to happen for many years, when Shadow of the Colossus was remastered for the PS3, I hoped that they would do the same for Spyro, and from then on, every time a remastered game came to be, I wished it was Spyro. The original Spyro game one PS1 was the first game I could call mine since it was a gift from my dad, I still remember opening it on Christmas, and just how special it felt to see and hold in my hands. This remade trilogy is so much more than just a game to me, it brings back so many memories and feelings.

There are still 9 days from when this was posted (it was still technically the 22nd in my timezone) left of this month and then 13 days besides before this game comes out, and I will likely not be able to play it on release day for various reasons. Gonna be a day or two late on that train, so it over three weeks regardless, and with the extra days I have to wait, it's about three and a half weeks. Also, it's such a small difference I don't know you give a damn.

I've enjoyed playing Spyro The Dragon series since my childhood in last 90s and 2000s. It was the most beautiful days and the most wonderful days with my Dragon Spyro, my family, and my friends. I wish everyday from the depths of my heart to go back in time to beautiful time and wonderful time of 90s and 2000s where our happy childhoods, no more concerns, no more tragedies, and no more woes. I'm excited to buy and play Spyro Reignited Trilogy which brings back happy and wonderful memories. When I heard the news of Spyro Reignited Trilogy seven months ago, I was so happy. I hope Toys For Bob to create new Spyro games and Crash games after Trilogy.

yeah same , i dont think i ever played those games ( i played a heroes tale on gamecube as well as the legend of spyro games ( only finished the 1st and 3rd but never the 2nd , so getting those remastered would be awesome ) edit i think i also played enter the dragon fly once, i just remember the things you had to collect had weird names

Crash Twinsanity has a lot of story and characterization , 3d open world and nearly every game after it , although the game is rushed , still fans really find the game charming . Means Crash is capable of having fun stories and 3d open world .

Those games were really bad apart from the last one (Dawn of the Dragon). That one is on PS3 if you wanna try it out but it's pretty rare and expensive.

If you have a PS3 you can buy all three original games from the first trilogy on the Playstation store. Definately recommend it. Hard to say if they will ever remake the "TLOS" (The Legend of Spyro) trilogy though.

i guarantee only the first game is going to feel completely finished. the devs need more time that activision isn't willing to give them

Antiform true but even with this delay, I feel that they can pull it off okay. I’m just worried about the 3rd game cuz they haven’t showed much of it off

If they can manage to get playable finished builds of even 2 of the 3 games onto the disc or Day1 patched, I'll be impressed... but I think it's gonna take a few patches before the games are REALLY finished.

YES! YES! YES! I am so excited to play this in a few weeks! There's only one word I can think of that sums up this game-- gorgeous! Toys for Bob has done a phenomenal job working on this game and getting it finished on schedule. I have nothing but the deepest respect for this developer, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for resurrecting my precious, childhood gems! I'm finding it very difficult to contain my joy right now!

Hopefully spring 2019. Toys for Bob is currently focused on the Xbox1/PS4 releases. I have no doubt that they will release it on the Switch eventually. :)
