Join/Inner Join = Keep only that which matches Left join = Keep every thing from left table, only matches from right table Right join = Keep everything from right table, only matches from left table Outer join = Keep everything

Seriously, why do teachers not explain it simply like this, I was so confused, they just like explained in words what join is, and then write sql and show it and then I just have no idea what happened. Great visual.
