I’ll go one a step further, and say we don’t honor those enough that have become permanently disabled serving in the military or 1st responder community. Congress is actually toying with reducing disability payments for veterans and the 1st Responders are left to battle with the disgusting Workers Comp system! In these communities “All gave some and Some gave all”! Those that become permanently disabled need to be honored and recognized as well.

We should honor the fallen, but We talk about the protection of us as citizens as though that means anything anymore. Citizenship ceases to mean anything if 40 million that illegally crossed the border receives essentially the same privileges and face no consequences or threat of removal. If we want to protect citizens, then protect the one thing that differentiates us as such OUR SOVEREIGN BORDERS!
