This vehicle would cover 90% of my regular driving. However I need at least 40 mph as some of our streets 35 mph limit. As an apartment dweller I have no access to at home charging using a driveway. Here in San Diego 85% lof the days sunny we probably match the rated Spain numbers. Nice.

I live in Antigua, in the Caribbean. I think this would be perfect for small island life. Perhaps they should try to have some available for the upcoming UN Conference on Small Island States in May.

Just see Arcimoto. And then look at its stock performance. I don't think adding a solar panel will be a game changer because shaded areas are abundant... even the shadow of one's house on their driveway, and trees. Plus, since it needs to be outside all of the time for solar, corrosion in northern climates may be quite challenging.

Hopefully they explore the share car model. Most privately owned transport is idle >95% of the day. It seems simple enough to scan a driving license in an app. These could be really popular at hotels in car-dependent cities.

Yes in 2024. The L7 version is for US market.

It is not a new concept for small light city 2 seater electric car. There is the Renault Twizy and Citroen Ami for exemple. Plus, solar roof for a car is just a very bad ineficient idea especialy for cities. City streets are mostly under shade of buildings and trees so the solar panels will almost never charge.

Yes thats true, when they are bigger cities. It would be ideal for small towns, the buildings are lower and the light reaches the roof of the car more, as well as the availability of open parking spaces, where the car would charge the batteries well. The other cars you mentioned are more well-known brands, squad solar could be cheaper competition (but it also makes it vulnerable, if renault or citroen have a stronger veto where they sell, they would need good persistence with the local community to market there).
