Now I ain't saying this to discredit the piloting shown here, some real practice there showing itself off. And knowledge of aircraft and maps too. some of the Arma Pilots can do a lot of the same things too. In a sliightly less forgiving flight model, albeit with, (to my knowledge) far more robust control options for the helis.

Flying helos is definitely the most fun thing to do in squad. I just want them to add attack helos so we can barrel roll while shooting rockets haha 😂

there are actually attack helis in squad. just only in modded servers. the MEE mod has 1 working layer with a single attack heli, but the best mod 4 attack helis is the satcom mod

After 2k hours in DCS and looking at this I can say that both games Squad and DCS are not complete games, Squad can not offer vehicle physics etc, DCS can not offer infantry actions. Connection both in one product could be best game ever made.

Good time to practice when it's almost peaceful in a session. Also, it is a great time to do different paths and maneuvers, so when it does get busy, the opponents don't get familiar with your patterns.

WASD controls completely break the flight model. You can hover and even fly around oriented vertically. It's fun as hell but I hope they patch it

The flight model in this game is not difficult. Rising storms is more heavy and smooth. This is like an arcadey version of that one.
