Good work. Would like to see more of how you applied the bed liner for textures and mixed the flex agent. Anybody can spray paint but those things change everything!

Great job, this is also what I need to do in my blue K20, the interior panels need some new life. I just got done painting my interior cab from rear window down.

How did the bedliner turn out? I just bought a 74 Nova that has the same type of Door panels and I'm redoing the interior and the tops of the door panels need some work, they are cracked and getting thin and although i can find new ones I don't wanna spend $800 on new ones until i absolutely have to. I've seen how to fix the cracks and holes and strengthen the tops up but more can't hurt.

Good question. I would definitely use plastic adhesive. I have painted without it and regretted it.

Looks great man 👌 What kinda finish was it....a matte or semi gloss? I found that both show scratches very easily (rattle can) any advice. Thanks

So it doesn't cover scratches but it definitely Covers really well with a matte finish... But I would do my best to blend some of the scratches out Or even if their bad enough fill them But try not to not take the texture away.

i have the same colour in my square Suburban, but i want to paint it black. would that be a problem to change to color on theese plastics? any other recommendations you could give me before i start?

I would definitely scrub it down with some scotch bright and water and soap, Then do a wipe with some denatured alcohol Before you spray.

How does your carpets looks after a while? I was told that repainting carpets donc render great after?

No I did not paint the carpets the carpets were the original colour.

@@mcbecane6249you can dye some. They will look ok but they have to have nap. You brush up spray let dry then brush down and respray light coats. Then you brush across then vacuum and your done. Only recommend on red or blue or black carpets. Lighter colors show through

It was something I got from the paint shop was called colourcoat But any paint shop can mix you up To use on vinyl that has all the flex agents and it adheres to plastics.

There’s also a company called SEM. They sell it at automotive repair shop.
