Thank you for this explanation, as a SE# noobie, i was unaware i could drive synchronous sketches for the ordered lofted flange. Very well explained tutorial!

Any idea why, when I follow this tutorial exactly, I get "operation unsuccessful" at the very last step of creating the ordered flange?

Your part failed because I presume that you tried to do a material inside - material outside worked. The reason for this is the material and sheet thickness are the same and solid edge does not allow for a zero bend. Change the bend radius to 0,020 " and it will work.

@@cadcentralnzExcept that I _am_ trying to go to the outside, and have tried large radius bends just as an experiment to try and get the part to resolve. I'm wondering if there was some update between ST9 and SE2020 that is allowing yours to resolve and mine to not? It doesn't make sense that it would give this much trouble over a square-to-round, though. That's one of the most basic sheetmetal parts to make...
