A more mean spirited player I've never seen, the game will be better without him imo.

Yes he seems old man grumpy and very (time-wasting) tactical recently. I was glad he lost but a great record.

What a fantastic match was that one between Mathew and kandra but unfortunately Mathew lost it so goodbye legend Sic parvis magna my friends

Congrats to Raphael Kandra, beating world champion Mathew. Kandra worked for every point, there are no freebies when playing the wolf. Cesar also played very well and will transition, just as Raphael has. Thanks PSASquashTV, best regards.

Is it true that matthew had a back spasm from the 1st game onwards?

I was there for the first 2 men games yesterday (sat next to the ref :) ). There's a big bit missed from the 3rd game of Matthews vs Kandra game where a point was awarded to Kandra because (I believe..) it was seen Matthew double hit the ball. It was obvious that this totally threw him off and for the rest of the match he constantly complained to the ref, ultimately helping him lose the match.
