Try kaolin clay. It is 100% organic (if you get 100% clay). I just started using it about a month ago. It keeps the beetles, vine borer, squash bugs, and other pests away. One thing to mention .... I will not use WP Surround that so many rave about due to whatever that 5% of the ingredients consist of. You can use 100% clay with the same result. This stuff is used for facial masks, pottery, and has been used in farming/gardening for 2000 years. I havent seen one cucumber beetle this year and I'm pretty sure it's because of the clay. Last year they killed my plants. I couldn't get rid of them no matter how hard I tried. There are a lot of videos, but I would recommend doing a browser search as well. Hope that helps.
