Madness! Great matchup of different pace, crosscourts vs rails, etc. But this is also sort of what you get between two players who share incredible defense, a low error rate (on this day), and limited ability to put the ball away...

The referee was totally out to get rodriguez, giving him no lets, especially the last no let

I'd have given the lets every time. Seems sad to have decided such a great game with a dubious "no Let" call.

+japeking1 i completely agree, especially that last let call, that was without a doubt a let and he doesn't get it. so frustrating!

+japeking1 Really seemed like the judges were out to get Rodriguez. Perhaps it was rigged? I'd like to see these judges on trial.

28:40 How the hell was that a no let?! Although there was considerable interference Rodriguez almost got through and reached the ball. It was an easy ball he could return from the middle of the court. And the review decision! Outrageous. Columbian was robbed

+Siatkowkarzadzi I completly agree, also with that last call.... I mean if you know these players get to everything. If they are interfered like the play you pointed to, just let them fucking have the let.

I have a reply above about why I agreed with both no-let decisions against Rodriguez in the tiebreak. It is detailed, but in short, I felt that in both cases Rodriguez put himself in a bad position with his shot, and then ran straight into Castagnet in both cases, instead of taking a correct path to play the ball. If you disagree with this short answer, I encourage you to scroll up to a reply above where I comment, and we can discuss it there as well. I admit that I could be wrong, all of this is just my opinion.
