Absolutely brilliant match! Inconsistent reffing though. Also, 1:20:02 - no way that's a stroke, I can't stand fishing. Yes Let and a warning to play the ball in future. He would have had to lunge forward if he wanted to play it, he had backed off so far.

A very good match. The referee(s) are at a big disadvantage when making decisions in these matches..........they're not positioned to get a good aerial(high view) of the court like in the old days on the old courts. The video ref is the only one who can make a good informed decision on that basis.......seeing the whole court from the different camera angles........and hopefully that person makes a right decision.

As good as this match was the standard of refereeing was atrocious. I think the general standard of officiating has improved massively in recent years and it needed to.

36:20, it doesn't matter when the player wants to play the ball. If when they call a let it's a stroke, then it's a stroke, doesn't matter if they hesitated.

1:31:34 can somebody explain to me why this is a stroke? New to the game, so I don't fully understand. But it looked like Matthew played the shot and was out of the way, then SHA just ignored it, but was awarded the stroke?
