Lol! Love the foot fault call. This should be done more in modern squash, as most player's don't even try and keep their foot int he box when serving.

I met Jonah in the mid 80's when at Public School playing against the school where he was teaching. It was the National Under 19's Schoolboy Championships. I came 4th but still won a KARAKAL Raquet (which I still have) and 10 lessons from the Legend. I'm still playing and would give my right arm to play with Jonah or Joey........

When Joey's commentating he's sometimes hard on Gaultier for his whining, mental collapses etc. I don't blame him, Gaultier can be a pain (though he's matured a lot). But it would be funny to hear him have a go at Joey's form...

Actually I think Jonah was quite disappointing for a former champion. He did say he hadn’t played in 6 years so maybe that’s why, but there are amateur club players around his age down where I play, who I think would beat him at this level.

That is not what I wanted to hear. I'm a low level club player and watching this game a few years ago I reckoned I could give Jonah a good run. So I think if I can keep going to 90 I might have a chance in the World Masters ( in 15 years time ). But you have rather dashed that dream, unless of course they all die off before me. 🤗@@ShellysAshes

@@jackieking1522 Honestly watching this again years later I think my comment was way too harsh. Maybe I wasn't in as good a position to judge the level back then. Jonah at this level would wipe the floor with most club players.

% years ago, when I first saw this, I believed I could hold my own with Jonah at 70...... now I'm 73 the bursitis , the arthritis and medial ligament have told me Oh no you can't." End of a dream.

Joey is supposed to only hit length (behind the service looney); aka no drop shots on the old guy. In effect, Jon is only covering 1/3 court.
