Going off the board, Asal vs Coll 2nd point of their 5th game at Black Ball. Incredibly tight and a refusal by both players (especially Asal) to show any fatigue or impatience.

I am gonna throw an honorable mention to this list! 1ere serie 2020 final match between Lucas serme and Sébastien bonmalais.... First match score is 0-3.... 4 minutes 45 seconds later rally ends with every inch of the court being covered.... Epic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Longest rally of 2020

I find it peculiar that Marwan, which reached two finals (if I'm not mistaken?), and beat Farag (and the rest of the top lot) on the way is not included here. Just luck and frame hits I presume? That villain Marwan, ey...? *shaking head*

just because the rallies are long doesn't mean they're the best... they're far from entertaining

I don't get why the first rally is there. The tempo is three times slower than the other rallies.

Yea first rally had no tempo, both were happy hanging in the back and hitting deep, neither stepped up to put on real pressure

That’s the reason that rally was termed old school, good riddance to such boring play strategies. A few of those in a match would be ok but imagine if it was the intention of every rally to be drawn out in order to fatigue your opponent and winning by their unforced errors. It was just plain boring and did not fit as a TV spectator sport at all, despite the skill and stamina of the players.
