When looking to control the T you need to hunt the volley. You will only want to hunt the volley when you have a good basic technique and understanding. Being attentive to your follow-through when volleying will increase the consistency of the shot and send it exactly where you want it to go, whether that be long or shot. Put value in making the racket head point to your target area when you complete your volley to make it fly true.

Great explanation, key takeaways 1. 0:23 hitting throught the ball - extra power, momentum 2. 0:50 extra accuracy when your racquet ending up pointing where you intend to the ball to hit the wall 3. 1:46 Recoil of follow-through will naturally pull you back to the middle of the court

That’s a great presentation of all the reasons for follow through. Very David Pearson.

I could use a video on defence on the drop shot. I get caught behind and then they drop it into the corner. Point over. Link would be great if anyone has one.

Problem is of the previous shot - allowing opponent to get in front of you with time to do the drop. Get the opponent to the back deeper and tighter then watch him drop and you’ll be able to get the ball. Difficult when you are behind them!

I'm having trouble following these examples. the structure of showing where to follow through was fine but then half the shots he did he was still following through across his body. If the shots where his racquet ended up across his body were good then it seems like part of the explanation was left out and left for viewers to assume (which they may well do if they are more advanced players than myself)

thats the post follow thru, the follow thru of the follow thru if u will, where ur body naturally lets go. The follow thru nick is talking about i believe is designed by u, whereas the 'trailing follow thru', generated by the rotation of your body and torque, is not what he is concerned about and is just a natural outcome of the force you generate while swiveling.
