I had one tell me after I told him no, " You ain't got a dollar?" He basically stood there in defiance wanting to argue with me in heavy traffic. The day before that 5 of them bum rushed my car and even after i said no they were all putting their squeegee on my car, on my hood and everything. I had to take off before they started doing it without my consent. They will get run over in Denver it's only a matter of time. Then they will say on the news oh the poor migrants getting run over. The denver mayor is already in discussions about getting these people city jobs. Those are good paying Jobs that should go to Americans. I wonder if that also means police jobs.

The Squeegee men were a problem in big cities in the 90s. They would pounce on cars at stop lights wet the windows without permission and then want a tip. It was aggressive panhandling. By being a sanctuary city Denver is encouraging this problematic behavior.

I mean really what jobs can they do? Most cannot speak English and have no job skills or and discernable credentials nor do they have a provable background. So even if they can find a menial job are there 50,000-75,000 of these jobs in Denver? Because I have met several of Americans that are unemployed. I had one guy tell me he has been looking for work for 6 months.

Yeah I almost hit one when 5 bum rushed my car as I was trying to make a right hand turn. Even after after I told them no they were getting aggressive and putting their squeegee on my car. And I had to make the turn so I had to go. I can't understand why the cops aren't doing anything. They're impeding the flow of traffic. You can barely get through the lights as it is. A 15 second delay means traffic is getting backed up.

I have plenty of experience with this kind of behavior in Mexico. Working permits are useless because these people don't want to work. These are street people looking to make a buck for the day and chances are the at the end of the day they spend their money on booze or buy drugs. If they find a job they probably work the first day and don't show up the next. You find them at every street light, stores, restaurant and offices parking lots, crosswalks and city traffic. They are persistent and some time they get very upset. I have learned not to pay attention to their behavior and just honk the horn and shake my head, NO! If it doesn't work the first time I do it again. (you may have to start your window wipers after words and have a dirty window for a while but it works) If you feel it's ok for them to wash your window, never give them more the a quarter and don't feel guilty about it. Never open your car window to them, honk and wave them away. I know it sounds cruel but you need to make them understand you are in charge of your vehicle not them. Sometimes when I stop in a parking lot and there is a car or window washer waiting to get someone and my car needs cleaning, I do ask if he/she can wash it but I always ask first how much he/she will charge for doing it. Their answer will always be the same; "Whatever you want". So, I go based on the time they use and pay them accordingly to Mexican wages. If the job was done well, it will be up to me to tip them. They also need to understand that money doesn't grow on trees and they cannot force other people to accept their way of doing things.

I seriously doubt that homeless drug addict window washing street people would be compelled to march 4 thousand miles across 20 different countries just to end up doing it in the snow hill caps of frozen hell Colorado. That's like saying America's drug addicted homeless would march 8 thousand miles down to Argentina where drugs and tents are cheaper just to do the same.

@@olanlevan8470in Mexico making a few dollars a day is considered a "good" job. In Venezuela at the moment 2.00 a day is a great job. These people average BELOW 150.00 a month in their countries. They're looking for welfare. Socialism brought Venezuela to its knees and it will do it to this country too. For the most part these people are looking for government welfare. They do not have the qualifications to work anything but menial jobs. Once they find out welfare pays the same you will see what they do. Now all the children they have will take good jobs in the future. Free medical care, schools, lunches, and college all on your dime. Your children will work for them.

By the time they reach the US, they do what they know how to do best. Anyway, my experience is based on Mexico way of doing things. (The majority of Mexicans are hard working people) The ones you find on the street washing windows, doing they acrobat acts or juggling instruments, are lazy, full of expectation and rude when they don't get what they want. Always looking for people pity and looking forward to the American dream. As far as homeless goes, they would go if only they were allowed into the country of choice without the proper documentation.

I'm good friends with a few mates from Mexico one who actually had a real reason to come here He unlike many other fully adopted America's way of life and wants to serve in the military because he hates Mexico. The rest which equals five or so came for economic purposes. I was speaking to one good mate who told me about the election in Mexico and how great this new president is because he said he would give out more welfare and raise minimum raise. Looked into him he's a damn socialists sucking Mexico's people dry because they have all be infected with the mind virus called socialism. If you explain why their nation economy is not getting better they will just point out it's America's fault.

By law u have to pay social security as part of the pay check an is removed from ones pay every week to every 2 week payment and other taxes each time u get paid I started out earning 25 cents per outlet cover. As an apprenticeship told I'd get. College credits for getting a job in high school. Only to get screwed over by the state for 21 years

I grew up in the nyc area in the 80’s and 90’s and seeing this and it got out of hand. I used to live in the Denver metro and I can’t believe it has turned into a liberal shithole.
