You may wanna change the closed captioning over to English subtitles. I've seen several Korean speaking people say the subs are a much more accurate translation. I think the CC was matched to the English dub, and they sometimes take liberties to match the mouth movements

it's never too late to watch and react ladies...a lot of other channels even back-watch the 2016 'train to busan' movie. for me it's only a few months ago that i had time to binge-watch the entire GoT series.

why do i get this feeling that i'm going to enjoy this reaction. aight, i'm in. 9:10 aight, my time to shine. hi, i'm doctor squid from south korea, i've seen like 200 - 300 reaction clips of squid game and self crowned myself as a doctor. there's this cultural issue. first of all, we don't have guns in korea, except near that boarder, sharing with north korea. so, if you see a gun in korea, they are all toys. the only exception will be some police and maybe some special body guard for the president, maybe? i don't think even they have a gun. why was the toy lighter in the crane game, you asked? well, that crane game center is usually 24 / 7. during the day time, it's filled up with children, but after midnight, truckers, taxi drivers or drunk men just hang out there cause they're bored. so their target will be the toy lighter, if they happened to smoke. in fact, toy lighter should be outside of the box so that it will discourage kids and encourage adults, but this is a tv thingy, so ... also, maybe the shop owner was too lazy to so do. dr. squid out from south korea 🦑 ps: also, they have some male perfumes, belt for adult male, some mp 3 player thingy for slightly older people who can't be bothered to listen to the music with smart phone, cause they don't know how to put music in it, etc, are in the crane game machine, so it's not all for the kids. half and half, perhaps? 22:44 ignorance is bliss, huh?

This is my first time watching your reaction. I wanted to check out your channel because you were reacting to Netflix's K-drama, Squid Game. You all seemed very focused, trying not to miss anything on the screen and your reactions were genuine. 👍👍🔥 I already finished this series, but I am happy to watch it again with you ladies. 😊 I just want to share 2 things with everyone who will be watching any K-dramas on Netflix. 1. Please turn on "English" subtitles and NOT "English CC" subtitles, because the first one is more accurate. 2. Koreans use their, family name/Last name first and then their first name. For example in this K-drama, they will say, "Seong, Gi Hun, Cho, Sang Woo and Kang, Sae Byeok" But here in the states, we call them,"Gi Hun Seong, Sang Woo Cho, and Sae Byeok Kang. Because their family names/Last names are, Seong, Cho and Kang. Hope this clears any confusion and misunderstanding. 🙂👍 ✌

Great reaction. The scenes in the off track betting place remind me of when I was young and my mother dragged me along so that she could place her bet on horse X. The betting parlor was green and orange. I used to take a golf pencil and draw on the back of the betting forms while I waited. She never gambled with the housekeeping money we always had food and the bills were always paid.

It’s simple, everything that happened on the island actually happened and things continued to happen after jacks death which is why Hurley tells Ben he was a good #2. The only thing that was purgatory was the universe that you see in the last 2ish episodes where they all start running into each other.

It's funny how you characterize Squid Game as "Hunger Games-like", when both of them are like Battle Royale, a japanese movie from 2000. Goes to show how unknown Battle Royale is, even though the genre for settings like Hunger Games and Squid Game is called Battle Royale. Squid Game is actually influenced by Battle Royale heavily and was actually first written about 4-5 years after BR had released.

Not sure if you ladies already watched all of this or if you're still recording, but you should switch the subtitles of the CC version and just to the normal English subtitles. The CC version has the dub wording and the other is the more literal English translation.

dunno if anyone mentioned yet, but the CC subtitles (with all the "breathes heavily" and whatnot) are based on the dub so they're not as accurate as the regular subtitles. it's a tiny difference overall but it's just generally worse than the original.
