First of all, thank you for pointing the matrix easter egg I thought that I was delusional about that. Honestly, the only plot twist for me was Il-nam being the 'boss', because I did see coming the frontman and detective being related. And as you stated it was obvious that the characters will start dying based on their importance in the story, I could see that from the start as well. What I really loved about the show is the excitement and probably the adrenaline during the games, which means they served their purpose. As for the 2nd season, we can also see the death of Gihun because he had the opportunity to change his life around and leave behind the game but he decided to stick his nose again and even the person on the phone warned him about his actions. I just watched your video and I really like your analysis! One thing I wanted to add even if I'm late to comment, there were so many ideas in Squid Game very similar to Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji Manga that started releasing since 1996 - Anime in 2008 and the movie that came out in 2009. I recommend watching it if you are interested in comparing the two! I liked squid game mostly because of, as you said, it shows us the struggle of the lower class, exactly why I loved Parasite as well.. I'm here for psychological thrillers! It was a great review i really enjoyed and i love all ur reviews. My experience with this show was kinda defrent bcz i saw everybody talking about it i didn't see this big hype since la casa de papel realess and i didn't take the show serieos at the beginning i was like yeah not that good but episode after episode i really realized that the show is too good and the best things in the show for me . characters ofcours and drama and the colors. Soundtracks and the story line basicly its good i was hoping to end the show in season 1 but there's season 2

Thank you for this amazing analysis 🙌Personally , i have expected all the plot twists including the major one ( il-nam being the mastermind of the game) since i’ve seen the same plot twist in a british psychological thriller that was released in 2009 called “the exam” , the only plot-twist that honestly got me , is when Sang-woo wakes up to kill Sae-byeok. What i really loved about the show is the design of the places ( specially the stairwell) , i enjoyed the use of HAPPY and bright colors in such a dark awful place to be in , and that reminded me of the colors used in the movie “HER” starring Joaquin Pheonix , you can notice the same depressing vibe, yet in a colorful world. Thank you again for this amazing content , we support you all the way in 🙌🙌

I really liked this show.. I knocked it out in like two days. I got upset when some characters got eliminated, I grew to hate one in particular but also understood that they had the most clear understanding of the game as a whole I think. the ending twist I didn't see coming but at the same time I wasn't completely surprised by. It was sorta one of those things where you feel like something is off but couldn't quite figure out what exactly. All in all I had a great time watching it 🖤

Good analysis. The N°1 being the boss was obvious. The front man being related to the cop, not that much. i liked the idea of bringing some themes to light even as side themes. What i would've liked to see is some type of solution to the problem of debt. get to know more about how different people get indebted that much in Korea for example.
