it’s better for you to be watching this if you’re a beginner like me-i don’t wanna make the pros cringe, y’know?
but i am really proud of myself for getting all of these in a single package...
this is my new favorite toy
it’s only been one day and i haven’t stopped playing...
...the same things over and over because i am still, of course, a beginner
you’re gonna wanna check one of these out if you’re a beginner too-this is definitely the best value you’re gonna get at this price point.

CORRECTION at 2:55-this Strat is “normal,” after all. This is because the Stratocaster’s original design *DID NOT* actually include a dedicated tone control for the bridge pickup. This changed in 2018 when Fender released their Player series of electric guitars, which means that most Stratocasters made before 2018 likely had the original control scheme from the ‘50s-the one with absolutely no tone control for the bridge pickup. I mistakenly thought that the control scheme of the Player series Stratocaster was the same as the Strats that had come before it. Apologies for the slight mix-up.

It should be the same as the one meant for the guitar cable; that is to say, not the same as what you’d find in a phone or laptop. Sorry, I don’t know its actual size but I hope that helped!

hi, i need help ... i have the same guitar but on mine some green spots have appeared on the neck, what should i do?

That should easily come off with a damp (with water) microfiber cloth. Use a very small, additional amount alcohol if still doesn’t come off. I don’t know whether or not this method is recommended for guitars, but it’s what I do, and it works for me. Hope that helped!

ei which one's better the standard one or the affinity?

I'd say the Affinity, mainly because of its HSS configuration and larger amp. The Bullet, which I assume is what you meant by "the standard one," has a 10-watt amp compared to the Affinity's 15-watt, and an SSS configuration compared to the Affinity's HSS. Price-wise, however, the Bullet is cheaper. I guess it'd just be based on preference. Hope that helped!

If you’re here in the Philippines like me, then it was in JB Music. If not, I suggest you go to the Fender website, change your site location to United States, and then check out the current Squier range. Here: shop.fender.com/en-US/squier-electric-guitars/ Hope that helped!

I think I mention it in the video, but, like I said, there is no control over the bridge humbucker other than volume. It has no tone knob designated to it, unlike the neck and middle pickups, which have their own independent tone knobs. Hope that helps!

@@enzokko I think the guitar might just be wired wrong. Maybe you can find some schematic online for how you're suppose to solder the pickups to the switch and the pots in order to get the standard 1 tone for neck/middle 1 tone for bridge. I think I mentioned that actually, however, I do have plans of modifying the guitar, so making the wiring more traditional would likely help a lot. Thanks for the tip!

So I asked around a few months later, and apparently, it turns out that having no tone control designated to the bridge pickup is actually the norm, and I just didn’t know any better at the time of recording. I hope that clears things up!

I’m not exactly sure anymore, but I remember the full package being around 24,000 pesos when I bought it from JB Music. I believe you can also just buy the guitar and amp separately if need be. Hope that helps!

I don’t think it’s that bad anymore. I have a feeling I only said that because I initially wanted a different guitar. However, more than a year later, I don’t think I regret my decision at all. That said, I think I’ll probably have the guitar refinished or get a new amp in the future.
