Mine has been awesome played every day for past 3 years, same burst but with the maple fret board. Kind of wish I went for the rosewood at the time since they have all changed to indian laurel now. Thinking about an upgrade but its honestly such a solid guitar so its hard to justify!

I just bought a Squier Affinity Strat ( brand new) direct from Fender for under $150 US and it arrived in great shape ( no setup needed). I consider myself lucky but at the same time well informed by taking the advice of people such as yourself. Thanks

Fender Mustang LT25 amp. I have a Fender Affinity and this is the amp I have for it. Great combination.

To be honest I think the squire has more of a punchy sound to it. After all it's just the fender name you pay for not the guitar in my opinion my dad has a Mexican fender stratocaster red and he had a red stratocaster squire they both had the same sound quality so that's how I know we compared them
