Bhai Im suffering from squint since late 2001 after I had a serious case of Malaria. I was 16 then, I'm 37 now. Couldn't do anything for it apart from wearing prismatic glasses. It affected my self confidence immensely.

Mam mujhe full squint nhi hai lekin 1 feet ki distance mein jo bhi object aate hai wo double dhikhai dete hai and kabhi kabhi right eye double dhekti hai toh kabhi left eye aur mein 10-12 feet ki distance pe hota hu toh sab normal dikhta hai koi bhi cheez double nhi dikhti filhal mein school mein padhta hu and study karte hue bahut dikat aatai and one more thing mujhe full time nose ki one side dikhti hai Jada lest nose dikhti hai and koi cheez door se dekhta hu toh nose nhi dhikta

I had intermittent exo for about 50PD at near and 40PD at distance,as an adult. Got the R&R surgery in one eye only and there’s still some exodrift left at the cover test ,but generally the control is good now. How can I fix that residual exo left (probably 10-15PD)? Are the eye exercises good at this point? (eg. pencil push-ups,etc)cause’ I don’t want to lose control again over some years

I don't think exercise will work in adults. Only surgery can help strengthen the eyes.

Dr Mam/ Sir moths get attracted to a light & die because of wrongly perceiving it to be the sun; for that matter even mosquitoes don’t have fear perception when they’d get squashed by human hand. This faulty brain eye co ordination can I’d beg if be used for strabismus correction in humans. 🙏🏻💐

Visit ophthalmologist or squint specialist and get eye checked. Without eye check doctors won't know about your eyes. And squint surgery involves muscles in corner of eyes and no way affects retina.

@@nikitaingle7589 it's been 6 years and my eyes are still straight. It's very rare for squint to reappear but it very rare. And it's mostly among patients with amblyopia. But tbh even if squint returns we can easily get another surgery. It's totally worth it.

My one eye is little bigger than other eye and I too have double vision and it had squint as well. But I never felt any pressure in my eyes. So please get it checked by eye doctor. Never ignore any discomfort in your eyes.

@@imn217 nope it's very define vision, no blurry vision at all. But just an advice for you, I recommend you having 1 month break from screen time and all eye straining activities like work, physical exercise that's bare minimum, recommended rest can be 2-3 months. I'm detailing more about it. About clinic: I'm 18 y/o when I went for eye surgery (this year only). I did surgery from eye 7 plus clinic located in janakpuri, Delhi bcz I heard they're specialist in that. There's a doctor which comes weekly on every Friday, he did my surgery. They're very experienced, the success rate can be 90-95% high. About surgery: The surgery is just 15-20 mins long. It's painless, like the pain will be 0.2/10 on scale ie, less than a pinch 🤏, because they'll inject anesthesia which will numb your eye so you'll feel no pain. But the afterwards surgery, pain for next couple weeks especially for that same day can be horrible. But I can guarantee that will be worth it. About Recovery: Within 1 month eye will 101% fully recovery provided with proper medication doses without skipping course, and precautions taken. My Advice: Also eat healthy foods rich in vitamin A, like green leafy veggies are good sources. Avoid screen time, uv rays, wear black glasses, stay hydrated. Also take 1 month bed rest please I prefer you bcz it's about your eye . Surgery Costing: Surgery costed me Rs 35,000 for operating one eye (left) . This cost includes everything surgery, future appointments, dressing etc. The price is somewhat negotiatable too. I made 3-4 appointments with him. Good luck, it's life changing experience honestly. Don't miss out in this quarantine time. You got this ❤😀

Unfortunately nothing can be done. Only Surgery will straighten it. I had surgery in 2016 and my eyes are still straight. You should visit good ophthalmologist they'll definitely help you.

Surgery is the only option for adults. I myself had squint and have amblyopia in my right eye and I had surgery 6 years ago and my eyes are completely straight now.
