The bible doesn't teach that there is anything wrong with hunting. If a person eats meat an animal has to die, that's just the way it is. But that's not the message I think a person should take away from the Bible. They should focus more on faith in Christ and repentance as being the path to redemption. Salvation comes from this! Praise the living God for that! It's only by his grace that it's possible!

Not often, I set up so close to the feeder it's hard to miss. I had one jump out of the way a couple videos ago. Thats what prompted me to cut the perch off the feeder.

Maybe they think it's just an act of childish, unnecessary cruelty instead of hunting for food. People do rely on hunting for their own survival (it's inherent to our species) so it's completely justified. Animal cruelty just for mere sports should be drastically punished.
