The main thing with those little pistol crossbows is that instead of having the string behind one or two pegs like most trigger mechanisms, they sit on a ledge and the trigger just pushes it up and off, so it can slip off from the left or right side first and it makes them shoot off a bit. Cool vid brother, look forward to seeing more. 🏹👍

I just got one of those pistol crossbow I got a 85 lbs draw crossbow my thoughts are use that for small game hunting a lot cheaper than using guns to hunt small game anymore and I found on ebay a laser bore sight that can thread on bolt or arrow to sight in the crossbow... And that will definitely help cut down on how many times I have to shoot just to sight in the crossbow and less arrows lost or damage

Seems like pretty much the same crossbow as my Mankung Alligator TCS2. Cool little thing, i just kinda hated the stock sights which i found OK for pistol crossbow, but absolutely unfit to aim from shoulder, so i swaped them for little reflex sight and upgraded the bolts to 7,5" carbons made for the Cobra R9, which weigh just slightly more than the stock 6" aluminum ones and allow for standard screw-on broadheads, as long as they are two-bladed and fit under the front sight bridge. Long story short i made the damn thing basically more than twice as expensive than it was stock (and that's not even its final form), but shooting it is now even more fun than her 175lb bigger sister.

Hey man, I’m a hunter myself (well, I’m trying at least lol). I don’t know how much privet you got in your area, but in North America, all privets are an invasive exotic species from Asia. They do a lot of harm to the local ecosystem by outcompeting native plant species due to a lack of natural predators here. This creates resource deserts for the local wildlife and breaks down the biodiversity in the area. If possible, might I suggest removing them and replacing them with species native to your area? It will benefit the ecosystem greatly, but also it will benefit you. It will increase your area’s appeal to game animals, by bringing back the native plants and insects that game animals eat. This will re-establish good biodiversity in the area. Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling!

The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzfaq.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

@@TheWaterSwatters I have a redback that can send heavier bolts 300 grain plus through both sides of a coconut a close range . Your bow is only around 8 percent less powerful than the redback is. For Example a bolt weighing 278 grains produced roughly 16 ft lbs of energy out of the redback platform while the alligator limb will produce 14.75 ft lbs of kinetic energy at that same 278 grain payload. So their very close. The redback is similar to a 30 lb recurve in it's power where the alligator is similar to a 26 lb recurve bow. And the cobra system bow in comparison is more similar to a 20 lb recurve and I'm thinking with a 278 grain bolt it will likely produce between 10 to 11.5 ft lbs of kinetic energy. If you want to know more feel free to email or message me.
