What a funny little "soon to be" alpha 😊 His face when he chases the first squirrel is hilarious and with intent rofl. Also loved the part with Pierce poking his head up from the bush, lol. I think he let Jane eat because he felt bad for nudging her away from the food earlier 😊 He is such a gentle alpha! 🐿💪🌞

Poor little Jane! She just wanted to munch in peace! Good thing Pierce is positively gentlemanly compared to that hot headed young pretender coming up! I can see he’ll have to reassert his authority at some point soon or he’ll end up losing his status though 😮 My own squirrel regulars have become very rare recently - I think my best little friend, Miss Picky might have actually moved on 😢 - so seeing the beautiful, adorable, healthy (if a bit competitive), little fluffsters at your window is giving me even more joy than usual at the moment. As ever, thank you for sharing ❤🐿

Wow, that feisty baby reminds me very much of our Lless. When he was just a tiny 4 mo old, he thought he was King Kong, and tried to chase off all the adults! He soon learned that not all were easily intimidated!

Feisty little turd lol! They crack me up. Small but mighty. I love hanging out with and feeding the squirrels at my house. They have a little hierarchy. At work I had a big robust male squirrel I fed named Harry, he was so laid back, he just wanted to come up, eat and leave. The females always chased him away, he just wanted to eat in peace! Sadly I haven’t seen him in almost a year, not sure what happened to him 😢

@@Squirrels_at_the_window I have a chickadee that I named amador that used to eat with my squirrel that I raised from a baby a couple of years back take off for like five months just came back and started eating out of my hand again like he's never been gone hopefully little munchy comes back well I have to get up the gang is starting to let me know that they're hungry and I'm starting to hear things rattle on the back porch have a great day my friend 😊👍

Such drama! I feel bad because I’m going to be going away and I’ve been cutting down on squirrel feeding in preparation. I went into my yard this afternoon after a big storm to pick up branches, only to find a little guy at the foot of the deck stairs looking up at me imploringly. But the food had already been put away. And I had too much work to do to dig a little out for him. I hope he stops by when I get back!
