4:47 whenever i see people stay behind on kickoff they always do this forward flip and this time he wasted boosted, is there a reason to do that ?

They want to be closer to the kickoff without using as much boost as possible, each player (and region) plays kickoffs slightly differently by nature so it’s all preference but Squishy was pretty safe with this one, he was left with heaps of boost and hadn’t committed to the play being too close

Some players just do a normal front flip to stay further from the ball, or use boost to get closer, just depends on the person’s play style

Looks like he was cheating at first, but once he saw the ball go to the opposite corner and his teammate was following it he just went for boost cuz he had time. Plus he doesn’t need to play aggressive being up 2

Great video as always! Can you put the controller on the bottom of the screen again? Actually kinda helps, or maybe a good video idea for the future. Some mechanics like air rolling while changing directions are interesting to watch, but can’t quite get it yet
