If you’ve bought an entry level mountain bike, chances are it came with an SR Suntour XCT, XCM or XCR coil spring fork. They’re low-end, heavy, and lack adjustability. But with the SR Suntour upgrade program you can save some cash and upgrade to one of their air forks. The Raidon and the Epixon are the most common choices. Logic would dictate that the more expensive Epixon is better. But is it better? And if so, how much better? Check out this head to head comparison to see what we think.
Correction: Either we are idiots and can’t convert grams to pounds or SR Suntour changed their specs since we filmed this, but the weight listed for the Epixon is now just a hair under 4 pounds.
