I wonder how many people appreciate the effort you guys put into this videos. It takes me 6-8 hours to put together a comp video of myself with 3 cameras. All chronological order. No montages. More so before before all the upgrades to the track here. Surface is way smoother vs before when cars used to bounce like crazy. Especially the second half. They also removed a lot of the grass between the lanes and put up better/real safety barriers. I still looks mostly the same but is a lot safer.

the shute looked like it saved the Nova by grabbing the front of the Nova from not going into the woods.thank God you guys are good

It was a combination of the chute grabbing the bumper and Billy pedaling the the car keeping the back wheels spinning.. if the back wheels hadn't been spinning and were locked up from the brakes, it would have likley ripped the chute strap or the bumper off before it turned the car any meaningful amount. It was as If God seen he needed just a little help , so he let the chute grab it.

The crowds and atmosphere at War in the Woods at Brown County are taking no prep small tire to next level. Awesome racing and awesome video too guys. That spin was a little bit of luck and a whole lot of great driving. So very thankful that nobody was hurt and neither car got tore up. Guys were flying. On to the next race. Go fast and be safe. Glad both drivers were OK. Billy had the sense to keep the rear tires spinning in the grass so the car wouldn't kick out and flip over.

First of all, Billy I'm glad you're ok and the car isn't hurt that bad. The chute catching your car and the way you drove through it is what saved you and the car. I knew the spin was coming and my heart still sank. Tommy, great job dragging The Kracken's ass! Awesome video all the way around!

After watching the slow motion video of the Nova it's a BLESSING his chute snagged your drivers corner of your bumper. You were pointed STRAIGHT at the woods and the tires very well could have bit into the pavement and caused the car to roll. By him grabbing your bumper it snatched you 180* the other way in a fraction of a second saving the car from catastrophe in my opinion. You and Tommy are both amazing drivers.
