Chronixx ist das Aushängeschild der neuen Generation Roots-Reggae-Sänger aus Kingston und im Moment auch der erfolgreichste. Mit seinem Album «Chronology» wurde er im 2018 für den Reggae-Grammy nominiert und dank seinen Songs, aber auch seinem auffälligen Charisma füllt er grosse Konzerthallen rund um den Globus. Chronixx improvisiert zu 100% und performt einen klassischen «Freestyle» an der Reggae Special-Session 2019, bei welcher seine Kolleginnen und Kollegen oft Fragmente von bestehenden Songs über die Schweizer Produktionen singen.
Aufgenommen im Tads Recording Studio von Michael «Boxy» Howel (Boxlunch Productions), Kingston/Jamaika, Mai 2019.

Yup he's on another level. Nothing like him. I've been listening to music for 25 years straight pretty much 24/7 and he's one of the most amazing artists I've ever come across. He changed my life, he is everything.

As u can see it was not a freestyle :) its taken from his new song Jah is There :/ so he just said that it's a freestyle.

Matthew Wolinski well technically, all the chronixx fans will realize most of this is freestyle. He clearly is freestyling when he is stating in the track

Fake, he sings lots of his songs lyrics. And you can see how he also knows what Riddims is coming up, cuz sometimes he starts an intro before the Riddim start playing. If you see for example the video with Jada Kingdom from Jamaica you will see the differences I'm sure. Come on, buy some ears for yourself 😂
