Very nice story. Similar thing happened with me. I was writing my Higher Secondary Exams from Jamshedpur in 1972. This Higher Secondary Scheme called Kothari Commission was so tough that you have to write from three yrs syllabus in one sitting i. e 10(9th spl), 11(10th spl ) and 12 ( 11th spl). Further in six days you have to write 12 papers. Every day two sittings , 10AM to 1PM. Next session from 2 PM to 5 PM. Why I am writting so detailed to inform that Bihar Higher Secondary Scheme was the toughest course those days. Pass % was around 23%. Now coming to the incident, that was Advanced Mathematics, the toughest subject among all the papers. I was sitting with a Bengali boy from other school ( no idea) in a two seater bench. Seeing the question paper he told me that he cannot attempt even one question out of the 8 questions and asked me to help him. I wanted to help him so I intentionally put my completed Answer sheet open for him and I was busy with writing on other extra sheets. The invigilator came and caught hold of him and snatched my answer sheet. He asked whose papers it is? He said not his. The invigilator torn off that paper and thrown out of the window then I told him sir that was my answer sheet. He scolded me why did not tell when I was asking that bengali boy? I kept mum. Now everybody was in trouble. I started crying. Because it was in third hour, no much time left. Then the senior invigilator and Principal cajoled me and said sorry for their action of tearing off the answer sheet and asked me can you rewrite those answers again if you given extra time. I said yes. Then they provided one hour extra with police guard. I completed all my questions. I remembered Swamy all the time and was praying. I passed out in First Division ( only one student ie me scored 1st Divn 60% mark's in my class of 30 students ,Tatanagar Rly Central School). I am the first batch first student of this school HS Scheme 1972. I scored 79 marks in Advanced Mathematics a very few students could score such marks. This only Paper was responsible for low pass percentage in Higher Secondary Exams. Sorry for long narration. I believe Swamy will always help you if you fall in trouble while helping others. Swami too helped his classmates in exam by writing answers in their handwriting as told by Swami himself in one of his discourses. The primary school children must be excused for copying once. Afterall it is not crime. They did it for friendship. The students must be taught well so that they write their exam well on their without having any need to indulge in copying .
