From doing my researching I was expecting a peaceful, scenic train journey but it turned out to be one of the craziest and wildest train journeys I had in my life!

This was such a cool video. The love and kindness from you and the locals was heartwarming to see. The screaming that you heard is something that Sri Lankans do when the train goes through a tunnel haha. Train rides in Sri Lanka are an experience in itself. People singing and playing instruments (Sri Lankans do this on any long journey, regardless of the mode of transport!), screaming through tunnels, beautiful views, amazing interactions with locals, the good kind of chaos, etc are all things that cannot be missed in Sri Lankan train rides!
