At first glance Prabhupada doesn't seem to be overly friendly here and sometimes even a bit rude - to be honest, that gave me a bit of a hard time at first. But keep in mind that he is a teacher first and foremost. His job is not to please anyone. We are so used to those teachers nowadays who try to please everyone to get all on board no matter what. That's not Prabhupada's intention. He is very honest in his position. His intention is to teach Krsna Consciousness without watering it down. When I think back to my teachers at school I have to admit the ones that were a bit strict (but fair) and were very clear about their topic, those were the ones who served me the best. So, even if I don't agree with everything said here, I admire the man's intention, clarity and honesty.

For some reason Krishna inspired him to speak strongly to these men. Srila Prabhupada was perfectly in touch with what Krishna wanted him to do.

A Material Human being who engages itself socially gets hit every minute. His arguments are strong. How can you save a society which is already in trouble! It can be done by rectifying people. If people are not rectified Society can't be saved. Easy logic!

Nobody will ever get the better of such an exalted and pure spirit soul as Srila Prabhupada. The world is a much better place for his teachings, even if Krishna Consciousness is still a relatively small organisation. We have the oppertunity to take shelter of Srila Prabhupada and Krishna. For that I am eternally grateful.

he speaks truth even in it's most uncomfortable form, it's serious business what he is saying, and yet it also makes me smile. keep life simple is you want true success..i have known this my whole life but i couldn't see it because others pulled me in all the different directions and now i see it clearly..it took 45 years for me to see.
