2:45 from banihal to Baramulla. However for banihal to Srinagar last train leaves at about 4 pm

It may be only after 1st January. Light snowfall is forecasted for 26th January in higher reaches of Kashmir.

You can opt for tempo traveller, shared taxi or bus. The fare depends on demand and bargain. It can vary from Rs 150 to Rs 400 per person. In January i paid rs 150 for tempo traveller.

@@solanki87 Better to stay at udhampur at night and leave early morning at 5 am to banihal. Udhampur has more hotels and facilities than banihal/ramban.

Bhai mai amritsar se jammu by train aa rha hu or suba 5 baje jammu pahuchuga or wha se shared taxi me Banihal jau ya direct srinagar? Kyuki maine suna hai ke jammu se banihal kayi bar 10-10 ghante lag jate h traffic ki wjah se. To meri travel date 31st august 2023 hai suba 5 baje se shuru kruga.

Banihal agar 7-8 baje pahuch jayu to fir train le sakta hu agar banihal hi 1-2 baje dupher pahucha to srinagar to 4-5 baj jayenge or mere pas sirf ek hi din kyuki next day meri flight h srinagar se jammu.

It takes 2 hours from banihal to srinagar by train and almost same time by cab too 2-3 hours. I don't think you can explore anything in srinagar as you will be tired from a 8-9 hours travel.

@@countryexplorer my concern is not Banihal to Srinagar. I know traffic is very less on this route so whether it is by cab/bus or train. It takes 2-3 hours. My actual concern is Jammu to Banihal. Train will arrive at 5 am. It is possible to reach Banihal by 8-9 or by 10?

@@countryexplorer there is direct AC bus from Jammu station to Srinagar but it leaves at 7:30 am which reach there around 4-5 pm. My concern is traffic. I want to leave early (5-6 am) from Jammu. Will I get early morning bus/taxi towards Srinagar so I can avoid traffic. I dont mind if I will reach Srinagar at 1 or 2 pm. I can explore Srinagar till 6-7 pm.
