You are wrong that he just rederived the already discovered math.. Actually He discovered lot of new mathematics like properties of the partition function, new ideas on the theory of numbers, his own theory of divergent series, Known for Landau-Ramanujan constant Mock theta functions Ramanujan conjecture Ramanujan prime Ramanujan-Soldner constant Ramanujan theta function Ramanujan's sum Rogers-Ramanujan identities Ramanujan's master theorem Ramanujan-Sato series Nearly all his claims have now been proven correct andhis notebooks-containing summaries of his published and unpublished results-have been analyzed and studied for decades since his death as a source of new mathematical ideas. As late as 2011 and again in 2012, researchers continued to discover that mere comments in his writings about "simple properties" and "similar outputs" for certain findings were themselves profound and subtle number theory results that remained unsuspected until nearly a century after his death.

By sayings....a new invention is possible from previous ideas...no one is born with everything known....i appreciate it...but it doesn't mean that what he did was from dreams that's sound a kind of making fun of him...even though you have written his name's spelling wrong....if you have any problems or irritation from it go check them by your own and you will then understand how was it and why he is a genius of all time😏....and if you can't do it... don't make such comments on such personalities who has contributed something for we people...and it seems like you don't like maths from your comment.... you can better learn something new from ramanujan's notes...if you love mathematics one day you can too invent something new too

@ALL in One videos Oh yes i may be mistaken here to understand buddy but theorms from dreams sounded a bit disrespectful to me cause it seems like that ramanujan hadn't any role to bring such precious knowledge in practical life all he did just get the theorms from dream and send it to England that isn't the fact he may be deprived from general concepts of mathematics and studies but with all his potential , will and love for maths too did it. Ramanujan's such a extraordinary work was all the cause of devi's wish and that's what he admitted....but we can't deny his efforts and love for mathematics otherwise it would not even reach to England and such a important incident would not even happen. This type of comment doesn't sound appreciable for such a personality and a common people like me will surely understand it wrong....some common knowledge will also tell you without a huge effort and will such things are not possible to happen and saying it completely the theorms of dreams is non appreciable buddy 😟

Hardy wasn't shocked, Ramanujan's letter had some general ideas and problems, most of which were wrong also, Hardy advised upon him on improvements in proving theorems, and saw that he had potential, the theorems stated already had been proved earlier

@@Bourbon_Biscuit like i said, most of them (proofs) were good intuition, but they were still inaccurate, hardy knew he had great potential for improvement, and his suggestions + help made Ramanujan surpass the all the time greats

Ramanujan said he received formulas through revelation from Goddess. Hardy and Littlewood were these poor guys who took all efforts to prove these truly hard formulas who are direct revelation of Goddess!!! Ramanujan was just a medium between Goddess and Hardy

Mathematics can never black holes. It is physics that can discover the physical world. Else, if he discover the black holes without developing the physics, it doesnt give me any sense.
